We've got a new Page XX up which uses Wordpress. It's not linked into the main website yet. If you see any errors, or have any comments, please let me know so we can make changes.
This month we have GM advice from Adrian Bott and Belinda Kelly, Marcus Bone delivers the first two installments of his new irregular GUMSHOE zine, Rap Sheet, Jérome Hugeunin gives us an insight into his amazing photomontage technique with the cover from our forthcoming Rough Magicks, and Robin tells us what he’d do with a million bucks.

For Valentine's Day we've rushed a new Page XX to print with the Astro Dating Guide for Gamers from Mystic Moo, a new column from Robin, and other goodies.
So, why not find out what's in store for your RPG star sign? I'm a Cugel, at least according to Mystic Moo!
Why not post your RPG Star Sign on your journal or blog?
Cugel 23 August - 23 September Why is it that when I associate the two words Cugel and Romance I automatically roll my eyes to the heavens (and not in ecstasy)? Cugels are the charmers of the roleplaying zodiac and they are also cheating, lying bovines. Don't trust a Cugel an inch. Females dating Cugels should always check the hallmarks on jewellery. It'll be Claire's Accessories in a Tiffany box. Totally disregard any promises they make. If the sun's about to go out then a vow to love you forever is hardly what I'd call commitment. And don't introduce them to your friends and family. They'll traumatise the cat, chat up your granny and never be seen again.
Most Compatible With: Travellers don't like to stay in the same place for long, so could well share Cugel's commitment phobia or at least won't be too bothered by it. Dorks and Cugels are mutually supportive. Hanging out with a Cugel increases Dork self-esteem and Cugel's just love the constant admiration. Least Compatible With: Gurps. All smoke and mirrors on both sides.

Did one of your PCs die in unfortunate circumstances? Did they leave something undone? Of course they did!
Mystic Moo is offering you the chance to commune with your dead characters. Just post a brief character bio, the unfortunate circumstances of their death and the question you'd like ask. The Moo will select the best ones and answer them in her next column.

The new Page XX is up!
In this issue, Robin D Laws discusses three ways you can resolve interpersonal conflicts in the GUMSHOE system. Interpersonal conflicts also feature in Mystic Moo's Yuletide pantomime, and Simon Carryerr eminds us of the fun of festive travel with his article on Rail Transport in the 1930s. Finally, Steve Dempsey suggests a way you can improvise adventures using GUMSHOE, perhaps while sitting in a turkey-induced stupour around the log fire.

Graham Walmsley, who wrote this article for Page XX, has just released his first solo publication, Play Unsafe. Bringing his own experience of acting and improvisation to the table, he shows how it's possible to get more out of roleplaying by spending less time in preparation and more time interacting with the other players. I'm not sure if the book is unique, but it's the only one I can think of which helps players enjoy the act of roleplaying, that is what you actually say and do at the table.

As well as her psychic skills Mystic Moo is a fine agony aunt. She is seeking questions from people who are having problems related to their roleplaying games. Please post them here.

We've just released the latest Page XX column on our webzine. Robin will be covering practical advice for the GUMSHOE system in this and many future articles. This one covers adventure structure in investigative games.
Ian Sturrock who has written a host of excellent rpg supplements will be producing a new epic adventure for the Esoterrorists background, called Albion's Ransom. It's set in the UK, but the FBI are involved.

Pelgrane Press has an irregular webzine which includes a regular column by Robin D Laws. This issue, Monte Cook gives us an exclusive article about the Ptolus city project.
There is also a new PDF written by Ian Thomson; old-fashioned tomb raiding with a Turjanesque twist in the ruins of the Old City of Kaiin.
Finally after a hiatus driven by pure sullenness at Pelgrane, the Dying Earth Quick Start rules are once again available for download.
Feel free to repost this
