gbsteve point me at a lovelyGUMSHOE thread on rpg.net. It's gratifying that we've reached the stage where there are some people I've never heard of being enthusiatic enough about the actual play resulting from the game to encourage others to try it. Wonderful.

We played Dying Earth last week. It really is a joy how quickly people get into the spirit of the game. Any suggestions for taglines for our next session are welcome.
On the quarter deck of the Solar Emosynary:
Assassin in Purple Silk: I seek Trump, a dabbler who commands the Dismal Itch, which he has deployed to my employer's great inconvenience. Do you know of him? I must administer the Excruciating Death of the Three Needles
The False Duke: I may have - my knowledge is wide and deep. We will meet at midnight on the poop deck, and we will discuss the matter further. Bring terces.
Assassin in Purple Silk: Let this agreement be an unbreakable bond, binding us in death!
[Assassin Stalks off]
The False Duke: Hmm, I consider it any informal arrangement between disinterested parties.
