For this performance of the Mikado, Ko-ko took his role rather too seriously.

Sadly, The Arkham Community College staging of "The King in Yellow" was not well-received, and was closed by school authorities after a single performance.

Despite an heroic effort by a dedicated (an obviously enthusiastic) troupe of performers, the unauthorized All-Shanghai stage production of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and their (formerly) hilarious "How to Defend Yourself" sketch failed miserably at the box office, due primarily to poor production values, and to the notable absence of John Cleese as the deranged Sergeant-Major.

Err. . . feel free to add a footnote indicating that the performance was a carried out by the famous 'Oriental' mage and stage performer, Chung Ling Soo, for a small, private, audience.

And, oh, dang it -- that's me (James Hargrove) without my UID again. Also, another interesting tidbit for a footnote -- Chung Ling Soo died on stage in 1918. Two years after performing the King in Yellow.

[Note: And no, he didn't really perform the KiY. He *did* really die on stage in 1918 while attempting to catch a bullet with a piece of china.]
